Elysium — a cult word in the world of perfumery — has triumphed on the world stage ever since its debut in 2017. Now Elysium, which has become synonymous with The House Of ROJA, continues to beckon fragrance lovers into the lush green fields of a fragrant paradise.
Continuing the story, ELYSIUM EAU INTENSE reimagines the beloved Elysium accord, giving it more refreshing intensity. Uplifting the mood, Eau Intense transports the wearer to a paradise of crystal water and cloudless skies — the summit of heroes.
The perfumer's view
Reimagining the original Elysium formula, Roja Dove intensified the Elysium experience, emphasising its signature fresh, woody and sensual characteristics.
To heighten the freshness further, grapefruit and lime were added, as well as rhubarb. This tart, juicy fruit makes the brightness richer and more refined, adding a mouth-watering juiciness.
A note of tropical tuberose lies at the heart of this creation. Giving volume to the fruits and linking them with the base, tuberose unfolds in the warmth of the wood. Built on cedar, Eau Intense develops the complexity of cedar with notes of dry wood.
As a result of a considered change in structure, pink pepper was replaced by its more electrifying relative — black pepper. The rosy warmth of the original becomes more striking as its fresher, woodier nuances complement the intensified structure.
From the first spray to the end of the day, musk is Elysium's secret weapon. Intensified for an even more alluring sensuality, musk runs through the whole fragrance — from a weightless version in the opening to an animalic version in the base.
To complete Elysium Eau Intense, Roja adds a note of violet leaves. A bright, earthy material, it roots the fragrance in the natural world, giving the feeling of standing in the Elysian Fields gazing at an Olympian sky.
