MAY PARFUM began as a personal passion. Fragrances became our way of enjoying little things, lifting our mood or changing it — and over time the hobby grew into a business.

In our search for new perfumes we were disappointed more than once. The shelves are mostly mass-market, and luxury is often expensive without living up to its price. What upset us most was something else: originals are by no means sold everywhere. So we decided to work only through official channels — we buy from brand representatives or directly from brand boutiques. Vetting our suppliers cost us a lot, but without it there would be no trust.

Our goal is simple: for you to experience a fragrance as the perfumer intended it — and to find your own.

We welcome both those who have long known their way around niche perfumery and those who are just starting out. We will suggest, advise and help you choose — and we will be glad if you keep coming back to us.

What makes us unique

A niche fragrance lives on the skin for hours: it unfolds gradually, changes and reveals new notes. You cannot feel this on a paper blotter in a shop — there a fragrance often sounds completely different from how it sounds on you. And when a bottle costing several hundred dollars, or even more than $1,000, just sits on a shelf after you have bought it, that is a shame.

That is why we offer decants. You can first wear a fragrance for a few days and only then decide about a bottle. Or you can take exactly as much as you need: not every fragrance is one you want to wear every day, and a whole bottle is not always justified.
