Guidance 46 is the extrait version of the iconic Guidance from The Guidance Collection, in which Quentin Bisch, under the direction of Renaud Salmon, reinterpreted the original at a 46% oil concentration. Contrary to expectations, it is not a “darker” interpretation but, on the contrary, a brighter, sweeter and fruitier one. The opening brings juicy pear with hazelnut, bitter almond and rose water, a spicy spark of pink pepper and the resinous transparency of frankincense. In the heart, rose blooms with saffron, jasmine sambac and apricot-like osmanthus. The base is creamy: sandalwood, amber, vanilla and praline-nutty shades with a light smoky-woody accent of cypriol and Georgywood. With its huge concentration the fragrance lasts a very long time and has a powerful trail, yet in character it remains rounded, radiant and velvety rather than heavy.
