The incense accord is frankincense (olibanum), myrrh, elemi, copal, palo santo: resins burnt in temples for centuries. Incense smells fresh and smoky at once — with a lemony, coniferous and slightly mineral edge.
It sounds meditative, coolly solemn and very long-lasting. It is paired with woods, rose, leather, oud and spices — from “church-like” coolness to warm oriental smoke.
