More about «Rose» →“Rose jelly” is a gourmand reading of the rose: not a fresh flower in the garden but the rose jam or jelly made from petals in the East and the Balkans. The accord is composed of rose materials, berry notes and caramel-sugary sweetness.
It sounds dense, sweet and transparent at once: candied petals, raspberry, the faintly jelly-like, “glassy” sweetness of Turkish delight. In Andy Tauer's Rose Absolue it is the main theme of the composition.
