Cécile Zarokian

Names: Cécile Zarokian (English, French) · Сесіль Зарокян (Ukrainian) · Сесиль Зарокян (Russian)
Born: France
Specialization: independent perfumer, founder of her own creative studio in Paris (2011); author of fragrances for Amouage and Nishane

A graduate of the ISIPCA school in Paris. She began her career with four years of training at Robertet, where in 2009 she created her first fragrance — Epic Woman for Amouage, which remains a worldwide bestseller to this day. In 2011 she opened her own independent studio in Paris, which today works with brands from Europe, America and the Middle East. For Amouage — as the only independent perfumer working with the house — she has created more than ten fragrances, and in 2018 she wrote the legendary Ani for Nishane.

Zarokian is a master of bold, emotional compositions. She is not afraid of rich materials — oud, resins, spices, vanilla — yet makes them soft, enveloping and very sensual. Her fragrances are stories with character: warm, deep and long remembered.
