His love of fragrance came from childhood: in 1982 his family opened a perfume boutique. He took up perfumery seriously in 2008 — he went to Paris, the classic centre of the perfumer's art, where he met the master Jean-Claude Astier and learned the craft. Returning home, in 2014 he founded his own house in Abu Dhabi, at first called AJ Arabia and later renamed Widian.

Al Jaberi unites the treasures of the Arabian desert with the secrets of French perfumery. His fragrances are traditional oud, rose, amber and resins presented with Parisian precision and elegance. Each composition is a story of a journey between two worlds: personal, luxurious and timeless.
