Her love of plants and scents began in childhood — in her grandmother's large garden, among fragrant flowers and herbs; her mother brought back spices from her travels, and her father cooked with a multitude of flavours. In 2012 she entered the ISIPCA school, gained experience as a fragrance evaluator at Mane, and then spent four years at Symrise's in-house perfumery school in Holzminden, Germany. She has been at Symrise since 2014; in 2018 she returned to Paris, where she also researches new natural materials — travelling to Madagascar, Sri Lanka and Brazil to meet producers. Together with Frédéric Malle she created Acne Studios' first fragrance, and in 2025 Tales of Amber for Goldfield & Banks.

Le Helley loves short, precise formulas in which every ingredient has its role — she believes technique should serve emotion. Her fragrances unite the classic and the modern: bold aldehydes, soft gourmand accords, warm amber. Clean, expressive and deep.
