Paul Guerlain

Names: Paul Guerlain (English, French) · Поль Герлен (Ukrainian, Russian)
Specialization: perfumer at IFF; co-author of Lustre for Amouage
A member of the legendary Guerlain perfume family — the new generation of the dynasty. His first scent memories are walks with his grandfather through the vanilla and ylang-ylang plantations on the island of Mayotte, which awakened his passion for perfumery. Today he works as a perfumer at IFF. Together with Julien Rasquinet he created Lustre (2024) for Amouage — one of the three fragrances of The Essences collection, which are macerated twice and aged for six months.
Paul Guerlain believes that true art lies in duality: he loves natural and synthetic materials equally and knows how to reveal the hidden beauty of each. His fragrances unite family warmth — vanilla, flowers, powdery softness — with modern daring and cleanness. A new page in a great story.
