Born and raised in New York. At five she was enchanted by the way her mother applied Shalimar before going out, and at 16 she became seriously interested in perfumery. She studied French language and literature at Trinity College, lived in Paris and Rome during her studies, and researched the history of perfumery and the spice trade. In 2010 she joined IFF as a coordinator, from 2013 trained as a perfumer in New York, Singapore, the Netherlands and Grasse, and in 2017 became a perfumer. In 2020 she created Meander and Ashore for Amouage.

Reilly unites a literary imagination with modern daring. Her fragrances are stories: poetic, a little dreamy, with unexpected twists. She loves warm resins, spices and woods, which sound soft and enveloping in her hands — the new generation of niche perfumery, with great sensuality.
