She grew up surrounded by the nature of Eastern Europe. She trained in the classic method of the Roure school and earned an ICATS diploma in aroma crafts at the University of Plymouth. She began her career at a family perfume company, first working with clients and then as a perfumer. In 2019 she joined CPL Aromas. Her works include fragrances in the Strange Heavens collection for Clive Christian.
Lelakova is an expert in the Middle Eastern style, which she discovered on numerous journeys through the region. She works with luxurious materials — oud, sandalwood, rose — and treats them with respect for their traditional meaning. Her fragrances are rich, velvety and festive, with a subtle feeling for nature.
