Filippo Sorcinelli

Names: Filippo Sorcinelli (English, French) · Філіппо Сорчінеллі (Ukrainian) · Филиппо Сорчинелли (Russian)
Born: 1 July 1975, Mondolfo, Italy
Specialization: artist, designer, organist and perfumer; founder of the perfume line Filippo Sorcinelli (UNUM)
He grew up in the small town of Mondolfo in the Marche region, in a family of weavers and tailors. At 13 he became an organist and played in the cathedrals of Fano, Rimini and San Benedetto del Tronto, then studied at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music. He studied sacred art and historical weaving at the Textile Museum in Prato, and in 2001 founded the LAVS atelier, which makes liturgical vestments of the highest level by hand. In 2013 his perfume line UNUM appeared — fragrances inspired by Gothic architecture, incense and roses.
Sorcinelli creates fragrances like an artist working with music, fabric and space. His perfumes are the atmosphere of majestic cathedrals: incense, resins, wax, rose and cold stone, the sounds of the organ turned into scent. Deep, mystical and highly artistic — true olfactory installations.
