Émilie Bouge

Names: Émilie Bouge (English, French) · Емілі Буж (Ukrainian) · Эмили Буж (Russian)
Born: Provence, France
Specialization: senior perfumer at Takasago (Paris, since 2025); author of fragrances for Orens Parfums, Miller Harris, Parfums Grès, Salvador Dalí; founder of the Bouge and Brecourt labels
She was born and raised in Provence, in a family that owned the perfume company Bruno Court. She first wanted to study mathematics and physics but realised that her true calling was perfumery and graduated from the ISIPCA school. She began her career at Charabot, where working in Asia introduced her to exotic and oriental aromatic materials. In 2019 she joined the Robertet team in Grasse, and in April 2025 became a senior perfumer at Takasago in Paris. For Orens she created Callis Subtile (2021).
Bouge's favourite materials are wood, sugar and spices, and you can feel it in every composition: her fragrances are warm, caressing and a little gourmand, with a refined oriental touch. Her experience of Asia adds an exotic radiance, and her Provençal roots naturalness and sun.
