Céline Herbette

Names: Céline Herbette (English, French) · Селін Ербетт (Ukrainian) · Селин Эрбетт (Russian)
Born: France
Specialization: perfumer at CPL Aromas (since 2020); co-author of Strange Heavens Out of the Blue for Clive Christian
Since childhood in France she has had an unusually keen sense of smell — every scent seemed brighter and deeper to her than to others. She studied at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris and in 2020 joined the British perfume company CPL Aromas. She has worked for Memoize London, Idiom and Clive Christian; together with Kamila Lelakova she created Strange Heavens Out of the Blue (2026).
Herbette loves materials that give warmth and cosiness: osmanthus for its many facets, cedar for its embracing warmth, musks for their softness. Her fragrances are tender, enveloping and very modern. An important part of her work is sustainability: she wants both her fragrances and life itself to be kinder to nature.
