Albert Fouquet

Names: Albert Fouquet (English, French) · Альбер Фуке (Ukrainian, Russian)
Born: France
Specialization: aristocrat and perfume connoisseur, author of the legendary fragrance with which the house Eight & Bob begins
The son of a Parisian aristocrat, a member of refined French society in the first half of the twentieth century. He was a passionate connoisseur of perfume: in a room on the top floor of the family château he created and perfected his own essences, helped by the family butler Philippe. According to the house's legend, in the summer of 1937 on the Côte d'Azur a young American student, John Kennedy, was captivated by Albert's fragrance and asked to be sent eight bottles — “and, if production allows, one more for Bob”. That is how the name Eight & Bob came about, and soon Hollywood stars were ordering the fragrance too.
The fragrances born of this story are the masculine elegance of the 1930s Riviera: fresh citrus, aromatic herbs, noble woods and a light leathery accent. Restrained, aristocratic and timeless — the perfume of a gentleman who knows the value of style.
