“Woody amber notes” is a general name for a whole family of modern synthetic molecules and accords that combine dry wood with mineral amber. When a pyramid says exactly this, the perfumer is not naming a specific molecule but describing the character of the base.
They sound dry, warm and “radiant”: smooth wood, mineral amber, a light saltiness and enormous tenacity. It is notes like these that give many modern fragrances their recognisable long trail.
