Grasse mimosa grows on the hills between Cannes and Grasse — a region that has produced mimosa absolute for perfumery for more than a century. At the end of winter these hills are covered with yellow flowers.
It sounds fresh and powdery: fluffy flowers, honey, a light greenness of twigs and a faintly violet shade. Grasse mimosa is a classic of French perfumery, tender and bright.
