A variant of «Mandarin»
Sicilian: the sweetest and juiciest, with a floral shade
More about «Mandarin» →Sicilian mandarin is grown in the east of the island, in orchards near Etna and Catania, where winters are mild and the sun is plentiful. The oil is pressed from the peel of ripe fruit, and Sicilian oil is considered the model of “classic” mandarin for perfumery.
It sounds sweeter and juicier than mandarins from other countries: a thick zest, a soft fruity sweetness and a noticeable floral, faintly “grapey” shade. This mandarin makes a fragrance's opening warm, joyful and rounded.
